(1)植物-有蹄类动物系统动态:

式中,Vt是在年份t有蹄类动物可以作为食物的植物生物量G(Vt)是植物生长函数; c1是每只鹿消费植物的最大速率; d1是当植被密度较低时鹿的放牧效率; Nt是在年份t有蹄类动物种群的大小; a2是植物缺乏时的死亡率; c2是植物生物量较高时的最大生育力; d2是有蹄类动物种群在低植物生物量时的繁殖能力。

(2)信息值:

式中,VI 是每个50年期间有蹄类动物利润的信息值;H是每年的收获量(每年有蹄类动物的数量);P0是最优反馈策略; PA是可供选择的收获策略; H|P表示当使用策略P时的收获量。
