    最优放牧模型
    (1)假定物种生物量分布与覆盖分布相同,如果是时间时的物种生物量,则:

    式中,是物种占据的总植被覆盖部分;是在时间的总植物生物量。如果是无植被覆盖的部分,则是物种占据的总空间部分。
    (2)    定义8为在放牧制度    下所有多年生植物每年的生长量。对于指数,,没有被放牧；,轻度放牧;,适度的放牧;,重度放牧。表示在放牧制度下多年生草本每年被动物吃掉和变成碎屑的部分,则对于任意放牧制度,我们有时间：
