两个城市的基于能量成长模型

 

式中,Q1Q2分别代表大城市和小城市的结构;F是指不可再生能源的储量;E1E2分别是城市1和城市2从可再生资源中活动的最大能量流;J0是能源的探明值;J1是指存储能量的耗费;J4J5分别是城市1和城市2消耗的可再生能量;E1r=E1-J4E2r=E2-J5是从可再生资源中残留下来的仍可利用的能量;J2J9代表源于可再生资源的净增长;J8J3代表源于不可再生资源的净增长;J6J7指折旧。所有的K是常数,ab是幂指数。

李(1980)修改了这个模型,他分别把这两个城市系统(核心区和外围)分解为资本和人口两个部分:

 

 

式中,Q1是核心区的资本或结构;Q2是城市外围的资本或结构;F是能源;K1K2g1g2Kgab都是参数。

总人口P假定为一常数,它等于核心区的人口P1与外围区的人口P2之和,并假定人口受资本的吸引,则有:
