新安江模型是河海大学(原华东水利学院)赵人俊教授领导的研究小组开发的降雨径流模型。1963年提出,1973年正式发行。该模型已广泛应用于湿润和半湿润地区。其应用范围不仅限于降雨径流模拟和洪水预报,还包括水资源规划与管理、防灾减灾、农业等涉水领域。为国民经济发展作出了巨大贡献,被列入《中华人民共和国重大科技成果汇编》。与Sacramento模型、TOPMODEL模型、Tank模型、HBV模型等国际著名模型相比,其精度不逊色。

该模型将整个流域划分为多个分块流域,计算各单元流域的产汇流,得到单元流域的出流过程。然后对出水口以下河流进行洪水演算,得到流域出水口的泄流过程。将各单元流域的出流过程相加,得到流域的总出流过程。

该模型根据三层蒸散模型计算蒸散量,根据满蓄产流概念计算降雨产流总量,并通过流域蓄水曲线考虑下垫面不均匀对产流区的影响。根据“山坡水文学”理论,采用有限容积、量孔和底孔的自由蓄水库,将总径流分为饱和地表径流、土壤径流和地下水径流。径流集中度计算方面,单位面积地表径流集中度一般采用单位线法,土壤水径流和地下水径流集中度采用线性水库法。河网汇流一般采用马斯京根法或滞后时间法。
