式中,c为以叶绿素为表征的浮游植物浓度;X为悬浮颗粒浓度,以其相应的散射系数表示;Y为黄色物质浓度,以其相应的吸收系数表示;为纯水的吸收系数;为浮游植物的比吸收系数;为悬浮颗粒的比吸收系数;为浮游植物的体散射系数;为海水的体散射系数;为悬浮颗粒的体散射系数;分别为浮游植物、海水和悬浮颗粒的后向散射与总散射之比。
