Cs2d_2Model_V1

The numerical model of margin seas near China coasts is developed based on the 2-D depth-averaged tidal wave motion equation in spherical coordinates, and the tides propagation in study region included the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea, the South China Sea, Thailand Bay and waters around Taiwan Island is simulated with consideration of globe raising forces.

Detailed Description

This model includes 7 subroutines

Subroutine UVE2 

    Applying the ADI method to solve the horizontal flow velocity U, V and water level eta

Subroutine DRAW

    Make a 2-dimensional plane flow field diagram with a 5-point method

Subroutine BC

    Read the open boundary data csbjhg.ext file, save the tidal time series of the open boundary coarse grid points as an array, and save it in small sections. For example, if the east boundary consists of 2 small segments, it will be saved in 2 arrays.

Subroutine UNIT

    Convert the calculated descent delay angle between 0-360

Subroutine LINE(N)

    Output data per empty N lines

Subroutine BD2

    Space-time interpolation is performed when calculating each flow cycle of the flow rate and water level.

Subroutine D_GRID

    Generate grid data for solving area drawing. Each line represents the row and column index value of a point. The file with code number 8 generates grid lines, and the file with code number 9 generates boundary contour lines.

The model requires two input data, a file describing the start and end times of the calculation - BETIME.TXT, and another file describing the latitude and longitude of the calculated grid - JWD.TXT. The model outputs a tide level file with specified latitude and longitude - jwdcw.txt
