Detailed Description

Traffic Noise Exposure Model(TRANEX) is a model to evaluate the noise level of  receptors through road data,traffic data and land use data.

The result of TRANEX is a combination of basic noise level and correction.The corrections of TRANEX inclode traffic speed and the percentage of heavy vehicles,the gradient of a road section,road surface,the slant distance between the road (source) and receptor,shielding (i.e. barriers) between a road (source) and receptor,ground cover attenuation,the angle of view of the road and reflections from buildings on the opposite side of the facade.The Workflow of TRANEX
