(1)    应用CLAIR模型估计叶片面积指数

式中,加权值被差异指数;是测量的近红外光反射率;是测量的红光反射率;是相应土地方向的坡度。

式中,是描述趋向于其渐近值的速率的参数;的渐近极限值。

(2)    应用Cloud模型估计

投影在发射方向上的单位面积雷达截面

式中,参数表示完全郁闭的叶冠的雷达反向散射率;是计入了粗糙信息的干燥土壤的反向散射特性;是雷达波穿过叶冠时的双程衰减;是反射散射对土壤湿度的灵敏因子;表示了时冠的水分含量,等于叶冠高度;是土壤的体积水分含量;是雷达波的入射角。
